Agility Handling Skills

Elevate your teamwork with this in-depth agility class focused on handling skills! Designed to enhance communication between handler and dog, this class takes a deep dive into a variety of crosses and turns. We’ll break each handling technique into manageable steps, building fluency and confidence in both you and your dog. Through focused practice, you’ll learn how to guide your dog more effectively, creating smoother, more precise runs. Whether you’re refining your skills or learning new techniques, this class will strengthen your partnership and improve your overall agility performance.

• Dog must have completed Intro to Agility or equivalent (with instructor permission)

• Dog should be at least 6 months in age.

• Dogs should know sit, be able to walk well on leash, and be comfortable around other dogs. 

• Dogs must not be aggressive towards humans. 

• I highly recommend that the dog is either food or toy motivated.

During class, you will need a 4 to 6 foot long fabric or leather leash and a flat collar or martingale collar to use when working. ​You will need 1 to 3 jumps to practice with at home.
